2020 - A Study In Loneliness

As 2020 comes to an end, I’m doing what I usually do at this time, and spending time thinking about the year behind us, and the year ahead.
For my final article of 2020, I thought about what most summed up this year for me, and there could only be one answer.
The pandemic will still be with us in 2021, and the data and my instincts tell me it will get worse before it gets better. So as we enter a second year where social distancing and social isolation continue to be the norm, I look at how my understanding of solitude, isolation and loneliness has changed during this year.
